The James Bond Aston Martin DB10 served as inspiration for the new Aston Martin Vantage, but head of design Marek Reichman of Aston Martin decided to take a chance with the front end to differentiate the car from the DB11.
The new Aston Martin Vantage was inspired by the Aston Martin DB10 designed for James Bond, but in order to set the car apart from the DB11, Marek Reichman, Aston Martin's head of design, took a risk with the front end.
The Vantage is powered by the Mercedes-AMG 4.0-litre twin-turbo engine, which is found in any AMG vehicle with the 63 badge. In the Aston version, it delivers 375kW of power and 685Nm of torque. Aston Martin's high-quality leather finishes and hand-crafted interiors are carried over to the Vantage.
