Vehicle overview
The launch of BMW’s second-generation X2 was headlined by the introduction of a fully-electric small SUV package known as the iX2. The iX2 benefits from all of BMW’s battery-electric know-how translated into a charming little SUV package that over-delivers on driving dynamics and interior practicality. BMW offers the iX2 range in a choice of two variants, with the entry-level eDrive20 picking up a single electric motor that produces 150kW of power and 247Nm of torque. Stepping up to the eDrive30 adds an extra electric motor and raises outputs to 230kW / 494Nm, offering a 0-100km/h sprint in 5.6 seconds. The iX2 range is packaged with a 67kWh battery pack that offers between 449 - 477km of range in eDrive20 and eDrive30 form, respectively, while boot space measures a very respectable 525L which proves this small SUV packs a big punch when it comes to practicality.
