The Nissan Ariya is a hugely important vehicle from a company very much responsible for kick-starting the mass adoption of electric vehicles. Following in the footsteps of the LEAF, the Nissan Ariya takes on some of the biggest names in the midsize electric SUV with a choice of standard and long range versions promising 385 - 504 kilometres of range from 63 and 87kWh battery packs, respectively, as well as a sharply-priced ‘Engage’ base version and a premium ‘Evolve’ flagship that offers no shortage of luxurious touches. Inside, the Ariya’s cabin showcases a bold new direction for the company’s interior designs, with an open-plan cabin and a sleek, minimalist cabin design paired with two 12.3-inch displays that make a great first impression. Rear legroom is strong while the Ariya’s boot measures in at between 408 - 466 litres, depending on whether you’re opting for the front-wheel or all-wheel drive version.
