Vehicle overview
Chevrolet’s updated C8-generation Corvette is a mighty impressive package for the money. While it certainly doesn’t come cheap, it represents serious value over its exotic, European rivals. With a 6.2-litre V8 throwing 369kW of power and 637Nm of torque to the rear wheels, the Corvette can sprint to 100km/h in just 2.9 seconds, offering outlandish speed and a monstrous soundtrack that celebrates the all-American approach to performance motoring. To make it more user-friendly on a daily drive, Chevrolet has added a front suspension lift to help tackle speed bumps and driveways, while the revamped interior offers a far more driver-focussed and premium cockpit than its predecessor.
