Volkswagen’s latest Transporter range showcases just how good the company has gotten at refining the humble cargo van. Available in both short and long-wheelbase versions offering between 5.8 - 6.7m3 worth of cargo capacity, the Transporter is a super practical work van that can also be optioned in a cab chassis with a large tray and a family-friendly seven-seat people mover format. With power supplied by a 2.0-litre turbo-diesel unit, the Transporter has tonnes of pulling power while remaining smooth on the road and relatively efficient for such a large package, while VW’s quality interior designs and jam-packed equipment lists make it one of the leading options in the segment.
